Joining the band

Membership of the band is open to anyone who is a member of the Scout Association, male or female from the age of eight years upwards who lives within a reasonable travelling distance of the 13th Coventry Scout Group Headquarters in Parkville Highway, Holbrooks, Coventry, where we are based. Members of other Scout Groups are welcome as guest players, and there is no requirement whatever for them to leave their parent group in order to perform with the band.

Anyone wishing to join should first seek the approval of their Group Scout Leader, then attend learner practise together with one parent (for young recruits), on any Friday evening between 7 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. for an initial interview and introduction to band work.
